About Me

I'm a sportscaster who recently graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I was a double major in Broadcasting and Sports Media and Communications, so I've been lucky enough to spend much of my time learning to do something I love!

In just the last year, I've covered the biggest and most special sporting events in Husker athletics. From the hiring of Matt Rhule, to the away football game in Colorado, to Volleyball Day in Nebraska, I like to take a second in each event to take in the moment. I view each game, press conference, and story as a chance to get better. This approach has helped me improve each day -- tomorrow I will be a better sportscaster than I was when writing this!

My first love was the art of storytelling. In elementary school, I wanted to be an author. When I fell in love with sports, I found the broadcast medium was the perfect way to mesh those two passions. I always look for the story. In each final score, highlight play and unique event is a story, and I strive to tell the best story every time.

I grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska as a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and Nebraska Cornhuskers. I was lucky enough to know what I wanted to do at a young age. In eighth grade, I decided I wanted to be a sports broadcaster. I started journalism in my freshman year of high school. Eight years later, the dream lives on!
